That long arm that Johnny Fletcher and Sam Cragg are on is Coincidence (see jacket). Can they help it if they to be deeply in borrasca* when a healthy piece of mazuma comes flying in the window? Can they help it if Johnny tears his pants just at the moment when they’re faced with the necessity to earn an honest (to them) dollar? Can they help it if — why go on? At least ninety-nine per cent of the reading public has been exposed (willingly, even eagerly) to preceding Johnny Fletcher novels and now know what to expect. They can expect that and more.

Incidentally, that stuff over on the right edge of the jacket is sand, a substance these expert and entertaining chiselers have plenty of. Between first and last page, there’s a fin’s worth of fun.
